| Altrusa International of Ocala Foundation, Inc. In 1992 Altrusa International, Inc. of Ocala established our own Foundation in order to better serve our community. The purpose of the Foundation is to make and award donations, gifts, contributions, grants and scholarships. | In 2003 the Altrusa International of Ocala Foundation, Inc. donated $10,000 to the Marion County Public Library for the creation of the entryway to the Children's Reading Room. In addition the Altrusa of Ocala Foundation committed an additional $10,000 to be used over a five year period. In June 2005 the Marion County Public Library inaugurated the first "Children's Book Festival" using our donations to help sponsor the event. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
