The GRANTS PROGRAM, provides assistance to individuals
and helps local Altrusa clubs carry out independent
programs of community service.

The
DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM allows Altrusa to respond
immediately around the world to traumas of natural disasters
with swift and direct aid.

The
FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT FUND is the Foundation's
legacy to future generations of Altrusans and their
communities.  Interest from this fund currently supports the
ASTRA Club service Award, the Letha H. Brown Literacy
Award and the Community Leadership Award.

The are two donation programs with in the Foundation.
LAMPLIGHTERS
Lamplighters are Altrusans who contribute $500 or more to
the International Foundation in a twelve month period and are
recognized in Altrusa publications and at the Foundation
Luncheon held at the International Conventions.  
Contributors receive a special gold
Lamplighter Pin.
CLUB 21
The Club 21 program, established in 1997, supports children
with HIV and AIDS.  The name "Club 21" was chosen to
emphasize the Foundation's commitment to major health
issues of the 21st century.  With an annual donation of $21
members receive a gold and white
Club 21 Pin, signifying their participation in this program.

a camp created for
children with HIV and
AIDS was founded by
Tony Lombardi and
Dave Butler.  
Donations from "Club
21" are used to help
support these camps.
